I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it for myself, but the Linked List has been patented. Wow, what will be patented next? Maybe a Stack or a Byte? I don’t claim to know the solution to our patent issues, but it can’t be beneficial to have a core construct that is taught in every basic Data Structures college level class patented.
